According to The Daily Beast

In a new ad airing in Iowa, Rick Perry accuses President Obama of a “war on religion” while asking why gays can serve in the military but children can’t pray in school. “You don’t need to sit in a pew every Sunday to know there’s something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can’t openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school,” Perry says in the 30-second advertisement. He continues on to say, “As president, I’ll end Obama’s war on religion. And I’ll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage.” The ad will be running in rotation with an “energy jobs” ad that claims, “It’s high time we kick our foreign oil habit.”
