Maybe the real question is: “Why did it take a whole week for someone to do this?” Another question: “Why are we surprised someone did this?”

That said, this is harmless fun. I don’t think it’s something to get too bummed about. They look like they are enjoying themselves.

I knew it wouldn’t be long before we Christianized Rebecca Black.

That song should have never been made, much less remade!

Yeah, except I figured the natural “sanctified” version would be called “Sunday.”
    It’s Sunday, Sunday
    Gotta get down on Sunday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the sermon, sermon
    Ha-le-lu Ha-le-lu (jah)
    pray pray pray pray pray
    lookin’ forward to the sermon…

Looks like you have that song already written. We are looking forward to seeing the clip you will put together and put up on Youtube. Keep us posted!

I tried, but I couldn’t make it all the way through that horrendous video.

I worked at Cho-Yeh a few summers back, it is a wonderful place, and this type of parody video thing highlights their good sense of humor. I think it’s hilarious and well intentioned. The thing I’m most surprised at is how quickly it got picked up from being uploaded a few days ago to being reposted at Christian Nightmares and here, I didn’t think it would get so much attention.

You know you suck when auto tune can’t auto tune you.

As a former multi-summer camp counselor, this actually made me smile. I think it’s a well-intentioned use of pop culture.

I’m inclined to agree. Camp counselors are the type to do ANYTHING for a kid. When I saw the original ‘Friday’ by Rebecca Black, I had intense flashbacks to summer camps.

OK. Is this camp a normal representation of christian camps? I’ve never been to one or seen one. This is insane. It’s like somewhere millionaires would send their kids for the summer. How big is this place?

I prefer Rebecca, Alana and Kaya to this.

Also, I spy a closeted gay boy.
