Jesus Needs New PR

A sample chapter of Churched-The Audio Book (Please share!)

I’ve been working hard on this… here’s a sample of Churched-the Audio Book…

It’s not a final edit… still tweaking it some..

But if you like… please pass it along and tell people…

When the audio book launches in the next couple weeks… it will be a free download for a couple of weeks… (And you’ll probably get sick of hearing about it…)

So please… plan to download it… even if it’s just to sit in your iPod for eternity…

Anyway… hope you enjoy.

:)

Joshua has a math lesson to do… but he’s sitting here listening to you.

:)

Extremely well-read, Matthew!

We all want to hear more!

The book which introduced me to MPT (and then JNNPR). I would love for my kids to listen to it.

You sound just like David Sedaris! (Listening to “Santaland Diaries” is a Christmas tradition in our house.) Good luck with the audio book; it’s a great book!

I just finished reading your book and, though I loved it, I felt that the story was incomplete. The evolutionary process between teenage boy’s eye-opening moment and the man having coffee with his potential new Pastor is a story that desperately needs to be told (of course, if you’ve already written about it in another book, then I have egg on my face).

Your book perfectly describes how I grew up, Matthew. This childhood background dramatically colored my spiritual journey, and I’m still figuring out how to heal. To be quite honest, I had to stop reading portions of it to my husband in order to keep his blood pressure stable! Thanks for bringing a voice of reason, and thanks for letting me know that I’m not the “only one.”

Pat Robertson blasts SNL over Jesus, Tebow skit!
Hmm. SNL has poked fun with Jesus before… Chances are, Pat wouldn’t have said anything about this skit had it not been poking fun at Tebow… SNL has used “Jesus” in skits many many times. There seems to be a double standard among some Christians when the religious sati
