THIS IS A MUST SEE: Put ‘Christ’ back in the Christmas race!

Did he win? Sort of misses the point if he lost…

I’m surprised he was actually entered into the Santa Race, assuming that’s what it is with all those Santa’s around.

Jesus has nice sneakers…. but I don’t remember the cross being strapped to his back like that…

One thumb down because of the lack of realism…. do better Jesus.

I didn’t know Jesus had running shoes. Or that he wore gloves. I’m gonna have to tell my church for the Easter play.

The side “wound” also gets me, considering Jesus didn’t get that until after He died. So, the dead, crucified Jesus is running the race?

You must have forgotten that He rose again and still has the scars. (See John 20:24-29)

If he comes in first does that mean he really came in last?

I agree with Noelle….a pregnant Mary running the race might be more appropriate for the occasion…and really cool if running all those miles caused her to go into labor and she drops out the baby Jesus right there at the finish line!

Totally unrealistic and inappropriate. I mean, Jesus has #288 strapped to his leg. He should have been 1/3. Also, if they had to stick his identifying number somewhere, it should be on the top of the cross. Duh! I wonder if they’re looking for consultants for this year’s race…

You can’t see them in this shot but there are three guys and a camel about two years back in the pack.

This looks like the perfect example of what Jon Acuff calls: the “Jesus Juke”.
