Now I’m craving Jesus AND chicken! Man, I miss living in a small town.

I might have to be shocked if that sign is not in my homeland, the South.

In our town you can have both. Just wait till church is over then head out to KFC. Or forget the 18 mile drive and pop in to the Dairy Queen for some Uncle Roys Fried chicken and tater wedges. A Godly meal.

I’m sure it made a lot of sense to whoever made the sign… My guess is that it’s a reference to the Christian love of Chick-fil-a. Just a hunch.

Did I miss something? Is there a chicken that we are supposed to be thinking about? :)

I think this will do the opposite of what is expected. I, for one, am now more curious about the chicken then Jesus!

In response to what Jeremy Commented on: “This Must be there way of reaching the African American community”

I have to say that is not Christlike to say that, for you just to put a sterotype on that comment. You might have been trying to be funny, but that is one way not to be funny. I honestly am tired of the Color Labels, white, black, green, yellow. We are all the same, we all have hands and feet. We all are in the image of God. I know that some of the stuff on Turner’s site can be funny, but remeber what he is trying to show us. Read his books, understand what the meaning is about posting these articles. He is showing us how we as christians are so focused on saving the lost, when in reality we need to be focused on just loving people who are not christians. Become a friend to a homosexual, dont preach to him, but love him. Let the holy spirit do the work. Now that is what I call Christ Like. “LOVE ONE ANOTHER”

Do you think there was the 13th disciple that must have been left out and his version was that Jesus fed the 5,000 with 2 chickens and five loaves?

I’ll bet that there’s a sign nearby that says a chicken shack is coming soon to this location.

Or maybe they’re just nuts.

Could have something to do with that World of Warcraft Leroy Jenkins bit:

“At least I have chicken.”

Pat Robertson blasts SNL over Jesus, Tebow skit!
Hmm. SNL has poked fun with Jesus before… Chances are, Pat wouldn’t have said anything about this skit had it not been poking fun at Tebow… SNL has used “Jesus” in skits many many times. There seems to be a double standard among some Christians when the religious sati
