While in Denmark Kris and I tasted Baresso Coffee — the Danish Starbuck’s — and we also had some Ictus Fair Trade coffee. Indeed, we brought some home. And when we got home, my friend and former student, Bob Robinson, had some coffee waiting for us from Dean’s Beans. So, now we’ve got a bundle of coffees in our freezer. One of the blends, from Dean’s Beans is called “The Jesus Creed Blend.”

Jesus Creed Blend, which I’ve not yet tasted since I’m still working through some Peet’s, is made of 33% Sumatran French, 33% Nicaraguan French, and 33% Costa Rican French. Thanks to Dean Cycon for this soon-to-famous drink of all Jesus Creeders! Actually, some of you are trying to get me to drink Fair Trade coffees, and Dean’s Beans offers Fair Trade coffees.
Just found this site: Coffee Fool. The clever folks here rate the best tasting coffees around the world.
My least favorite coffees are Pura Vida and Starbuck’s bitter blends. By the way, fair trade or not, McDonald’s new premium coffee is pretty good stuff.
