Those who are watching trends among evangelicals know that many today are returning to the ancient ways, picking up prayer books, and finding ancient liturgy a source of spiritual strength. I myself have tapped into this in a book called Praying with the Church. But, the personal turn toward liturgy is only part of a much bigger turn: when churches are turning more liturgical.

Today we are asking for reports out there of what is going on. What are you seeing at the level of churches becoming more liturgical? How is it working? What liturgical practices are being picked up? Are you seeing, to use slightly different terms, an ancient-future renewal in your church?
(Now a secret: Skye Jethani at Leadership is lurking today as this discussion unfolds.)
