Paul asks everyone to “remember my chains” (4:18).
We are called to embody the gospel of a crucified Messiah. This gospel challenges the principalities and powers of our age. The new community is to embody that gospel challenge.
Embrace the one who wears, not a crown, but a cross.
Give Paul a hearing.
