I can read all the words, I just can’t understand many of them :-( Someday…
It is funny how it looks different presented more as a letter and less as a book. It looks shorter, for one. When I lead an ABF through an epistle I print it off on parchment-looking paper and present it as a letter. It’s a practical way to get people to think about its genre and about the document as a whole instead of individual words thrown together.

Brings back memories of Greek Exegesis I (it’s the main homework). I can still translate the greeting & beginning on the fly, but it means I need brush up on my Gk vocabulary (currently engrossed in Hebrew).
Random question: Would you address the um, obsoleteness? of Yom Kippur (seeing as it’s Friday sundown this week) in conversation with a modern Jew this week?
