Boost your mood, get rid of slugishness, and decrease stress with a little dose of morning sunshine.

The sleep hormone melatonin can trigger a daytime grogginess that leaves you feeling frustrated and less than productive. The good news is, research shows just ten minutes of morning sunshine shuts down the brain’s production of melatonin in the pineal gland (which is sensitive to light).

So start your day with a little walk, or some stretches outside.  It’ll do wonders to put a smile…and keep a smile on that face… all day long!
