Update on The Sankofa Institute–Full but still taking applications

The Sankofa Institute  

a one-of-a-kind Christian Institute for African-American leaders
The institute began taking applications in January and is now full. However, you can still get on the waiting list in case a spot opens up.  Just fill out an application.

I’m not sure what others are feeling, but after our first meeting of the Sankofa Institute, I already feel a shifting inside. There are so many issues to address. Issues that are internalized, externalized and just plain overwhelming. But one thing I’ve noticed about Pastor G’s visions is they are nothing if they aren’t huge and, sometimes,intimidating. After all, that’s what a vision should be – something to make you stretch. With God’s help I am ready to stretch.

After reading the first part of our assignment I’m looking at this as more of a lesson in “followership” than “leadership”! I suppose it’s a lot of both.
