What would you ask Brian McLaren?

A New Kind of Christianity
Brian McLaren has a new book out called, "A New Kind of Christianity:  Ten Questions that are Transforming Faith". When it comes to Christianity he says that there is bad news:  "the Christian faith in all its forms is in trouble." and good news: "the Christian faith in all its forms is pregnant with new possibilities."

As soon as I finish the book I'll be interviewing him for  He is one of the premiere (and at times polarizing) Christian thinkers of the last decade generation.

If you were to ask Brian McLaren anything, what would it be?

Here is an essential question which Brian and all of us must answer: How and why is Jesus essential for our salvation? Could God save us in any other way?

McLaren’s theology provides no basis for developing a doctrine. Without a set of principles or beliefs how can one say that McLaren is anything but a Unitarian Universalist?

Given the moral meltdowns of Christian leaders we have seen in recent years, how would you suggest congregations keep their pastors accountable?
