A Prayer from St. Augustines Prayer Book

posted by Robert Gelinas

I praise my God this day:

I give myself to God this day:
I ask God to help me this day.

Feel free to join in and pray improvisationally…what are your requests to God this day?

I open the door to Our God this evening:
I invite His song over me; and welcome the desires He impresses on my heart.
I receive His invitation to rest quietly tonight.

I boast not in knowledge, riches, or power.
I boast only in this: That I know the Lord, and love Him.
I have nothing but myself to offer you Lord; please take my life and do with it as you would like to.
