Music is FULL of so many metaphors; Oh how we all need to learn how to improvise more often…

Man, what a great case for someone sitting down and being intentional and lucid about these ideas.
This video is blathering schmOoze.
I’m so glad you’ve written the book, Robert, and that you’re carrying this flag. It’s a beautiful metaphor and a worthy way of engaging life and faith and community.
And you have, and will, do it ever so much more well than this cheeseball discussion did.

Pete,
I appreciate the praise but I need to say that I have the highest respect for Andy Crouch. I believe that he is one of our best Christian thinkers. Sure the conversation is a surface look at the subject but it’s being recorded outside and on-the-go…and it’s just a conversation.
I believe deeply in the topic and am grateful to have a voice but as I’ve said all along, there are other’s that I believe can say it better and should. I’m just glad to be a part of it.

I don’t know Andy, and don’t have anything against him at all. I was referring more to this actual piece — it would have been better if the Ooze folks had done a little editing to tighten the discussion up.
That said, I’ve seen you outside and on the go, and I’ve always come away inspired. Andy may be sharp, as you say, but you know who I want to see on lead trumpet with this material.

A Ghost? Or Our God?   By Patricia Raybon It’s dark, cold and early. But I’m excited. On this morning, the most important thing I have to do is hear from God. And not just a little bit. I want to hear without limits. Isn’t that what we’re all saying today? That we want to be blessed by
