this is very exciting. i just purchased his book last week and am taking 30 high school students to Kigali in March to help an organization called Kids Across Africa. I look forward to his visit. Merry Christmas and thanks for shepherding our flock at Colorado Community!

Robert, are there any opportunities for us to meet with Bishop John in a smaller setting? I am preparing to take 30 students to Kigali next month and would love to talk to him more. We are also hosting a “Night of Worship for Rwanda” feb 27th as we pray for their nation. I’d love to get some insights from him as to what we can specifically pray for.

He is only with us for the service times and then he has other engagements in Denver and CO Springs…perhaps you could try and touch base with him after a service (all work for this except the 9:30 at Aurora).

My sister is currently working at Bishop John’s school – SonRise – in Rwanda for the next 5 months. If you’d like to know more about her daily life in Rwanda, check out her blog at:
I know that you said you’re heading there later this year & I think you’ll be just getting there as she’s coming home, but I know that she’d love to hear from you & maybe have some insight as to what it’s like being a blonde, 19-year old girl there…they’re amazed by her hair Ü
She listens to your sermons when she can get internet access out there & has had quite the experience in the short month she’s been there.
God Bless >
