I like these people… (p1)

posted by Robert Gelinas

It's dawning on me that (politics aside) I like these people.  Mccain Obama, McCain, Biden, Palin… When I look at each one Obama
as an individual I would love to have dinner with them.  I find their stories intriguing…I'd have so much to ask…what about you?Biden
Palin

Well as a vet, I would like to have a one on one discussion with McCain to ask him to his face how he could possibly not support a bill that would increase benefits for veterans.
Biden and Barack I would enjoy discussing foreign and domestic policy with.
Sarah Palin? Even though we share part of a penetcostal tradition (even though I would define myself as Ethiopic / Non Denomnational Non Sectarian), I would like to ask her when’s the last time she prayed in the Spirit, cause I know the Holy Ghost would frown upon some of the blatant lying that she is doing…

I like the fact that Robert found really goofy pictures of McCain, Obamba and Palin to post on his blog. Biden is the only one who looks normal.

Dang Robert . . . You’re going THERE!
In truth, I don’t “think” I like Palin. I can’t answer that question with confidence because she’s given so few chances for Americans to actually get to know her given her avoidance of the media. That said, from the limited exposure we’ve been allowed, I found her over confident and under informed. A dangerous combination in my opinion for a politician aspiring to be Vice President. She also comes across as, well, snarky. You know, a mean girl. The kind you don’t want your daughter to either be or become the victim of. Of course men can’t actually say that without being accused of sexism, so I will.
Again, I’m speaking from ignorance because I simply can’t get a read on her . . . the sequestering and all. That said, I guess any distrust I might have about Sarah would have to ultimately be attributed to McCain and his selection of her, which, of course, unlocks Pandora’s box right here on this blog spot and I certainly don’t want to do that, right?

My question would be: Is prayer in schools something you are for or against and why? I know there may be some who say, and be right, that this infringes on the rights of others but can it hurt?

A Ghost? Or Our God?   By Patricia Raybon It’s dark, cold and early. But I’m excited. On this morning, the most important thing I have to do is hear from God. And not just a little bit. I want to hear without limits. Isn’t that what we’re all saying today? That we want to be blessed by
