I like these people… (p1 again)

posted by Robert Gelinas

Hmmm…y'all this is gettin' out of hand!  Perhaps you didn't notice but I said "politics aside."  My question was pretty simple, if you had dinner with these people what would you ask?  Remember, we are talking about another human being made in the image of God and loved deeply by him.

Dude, I meant no disrespect to your blog space, my bad.
Honestly, I would ask them what I said the first time, but I am generally upfront with what’s on my mind, I expect no less from others as well.
I don’t compartmentalize my politics or my religion, I can respectfully disagree with people on either topic, so if I had dinner with any of them, what I said would be what comes up.
Other than that, I apologize for getting into it with your Italian commenter, I started visiting your blog because I like it.

Robert, it is funny that you say that…I was just saying the same thing to my husband. They each have such unique life experiences. I have a ton of questions that I would ask…everyone has a story, and these 4 individuals have each given us a glimpse of their story. I always want to know more…more details, more emotions, more background info…SO, if you ever get to have that “dinner” with any of them, invite me!!

DJ–I’m glad for the interaction, things we just getting a bit out of hand and heading in a different direction than I desired. Know that I visit your blog and you’re always welcome here.
Chele–How can we swing it? I guess we just have our people call their people and we should be sitting down for steak and sushi (and moose) with them in no time.
Creative529–He is the the Alpha & Omega, the image of the invisible God, savior, Lord, friend (still can’t believe that he desires that). He is the resurrection and the Life…(for starters)

Yes I agree Pastor that Jesus Christ is the Son of God but that’s what I would ask them if I was having dinner with them. Kind of like Jesus asked Who do you say I am?
