Moon1 Soli Deo Gloria–Glory to God alone

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." (I Cor. 10.31)

Here’s my favorite prayer that keeps me focused on what life is all about:  The Prayer of St. Patrick

Christ be beside me, Christ be before me, Christ be behind me…King of my heart.

Christ be within me, Christ be below me, Christ be above me…never to part.

Christ on my right hand, Christ on my left hand, Christ all around me…shield in the strife.

Christ in my sleeping, Christ in my sitting, Christ in my rising…light of my life.

Christ be in all hearts thinking about me,

Christ be on all tongues telling of me,

Christ be the vision in eyes that see me,

in the ears that hear me…

Christ ever be!

And all of God’s people said…

Guess you’re familiar with the hymn version of this. I know it from the Faith We Sing book and there’s a MIDI version (played much too slow) at http://www.hymnsite.com/fws/hymn.cgi?2166

A Ghost? Or Our God?   By Patricia Raybon It’s dark, cold and early. But I’m excited. On this morning, the most important thing I have to do is hear from God. And not just a little bit. I want to hear without limits. Isn’t that what we’re all saying today? That we want to be blessed by
