An nonagenarian who’s very Don To Earth…An Invitation to a Journey…And one of Wynton’s best.

Don19Blog of the Week:  If you have not discovered the blog of Donald Crowdis you will soon see why many make it a regular read.  At the age of 93, he is one of the worlds oldest bloggers and his wit and wisdom (whether you agree with him or not) is heart warming.  Check him out at "Don To Earth."

Book of the Week:  "Invitiation to a Journey."  Robert Mulholland’s definition of spiritual formation is worth the price of the book.  "The process of being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others."  Most books on the inner life do not make the connection with issues of justice and those around us. This is one of those books that I read at least once a year.

Album of the Week: "The Midnight Blues," by Wynton Marsalis.  Beautiful. Moving. Stirring.  I especially like track 6, "Baby, Wont You Please Come Home."  You can just hear the dude begging and his lady responding…if you get a chance to listen let me know what you think, does she come home? Here’s the Amazon link.  Scroll down a bit and they let you sample the music.
