Is it the End of the World?

Is it the End of the World?

Made in the shade

For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody. (Isaiah 51:3)

This week, I am interested in the “signs” that we are living in the last days, as prophesied in the Bible. The thing I find astonishing is that so many clear signs are rooted in reality.

Take the remarkable reclamation of the land of Israel. Indeed, in the southern part of the country, that once-forbidding area of the Judean Hills, the Israelis have planted palm groves that have taken root and are thriving. When you consider that the whole country was barren a mere few decades ago, it is truly amazing.

The north has been blossoming like a garden for some time, but now the south is following suit. Only people who do not want to see are missing the clear fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
