Jane Fonda on Aging and The Third Act of Life

posted by Jennifer E. Jones

Can you tell I’ve been on a TedTalk kick lately? I love these mini-lectures. So full of wisdom…

This one by Jane Fonda is particularly insightful. As you age, know that the third act of your life can be the best. You can right wrongs. Change your mind and change your course. It’s never too late. In fact, you’re right on time to be everything you ever wanted to be. Enjoy.

This was one of the most honest, inspiring messages that I have ever heard! I am very fascinated with her ideas and comments about revisiting and redefining our past paths. What an awesome concept..I will definitely try to put her words of wisdom to use in my life, now, while I am in my 40s,so that they can make a difference in my life, now, and I won’t have to wait until I’m in my 60s to have this wisdom, truth, and reflection that she is talking about!!

The Problem with Pain
I’ve heard people say, “How do I get over something if it still hurts?” And yes, forgiveness is key, whether it’s aimed towards yourself or someone else. However, it’s not really the main issue. What people really want to know is, “How do I deal with the pain?” The problem with pain
