The Power of Words: The Rice Experiment

posted by Jennifer E. Jones

A good friend of mine hipped me to the “rice experiment”. It’s an eye-opening visual on the kind of effect our words and energy have on something as basic as food.

Take a look at these videos.

This isn’t a gag. If you don’t believe these results, do an Internet search for rice experiment and you’ll see others who have tried the same thing.

Our words are powerful, and the energy that we give has an effect on the people and things around us.

How about trying some sterile technique? You put your fingers in the “you fool jar” twice and had your arm over it for some time. This will introduce more bacteria than the “thank you jar”. If you are going to do an experiment do it fully, not haphazardly.

The Problem with Pain
I’ve heard people say, “How do I get over something if it still hurts?” And yes, forgiveness is key, whether it’s aimed towards yourself or someone else. However, it’s not really the main issue. What people really want to know is, “How do I deal with the pain?” The problem with pain
