The Resurrection of Gavin Stone will bring a new light on the Christian faith and it’s ability to change anyone’s heart.

Gavin Stone, a washed-up former child star, is forced to do community service at a local megachurch after getting into some trouble with the law. He pretends to be Christian so he can land the part of Jesus in their annual Passion Play. Along the way, he reconnects with his past and builds upon his faith to discover that his most important role is far away from the shining lights of Hollywood

The faith-based feature film was shot in the Elgin area by a branch of Elgin’s Harvest Bible Chapel and will be brought to audiences by WWE Studios. The film was directed by the megachurch’s media director, Dallas Jenkins, and stars Brett Dalton (from TV’s Agents of Shield), Neil Flynn (from TV’s The Middle), as well as Nicole Astra, D.B. Sweeney and Emily Eruraviel.
