Bernie Marcus is the founder of Home Depot, a popular national home improvement store. Marcus, however, isn’t the typical business man that you might expect. Marcus was born and raised in a Jewish home and a strong value of Tzedaka (charity) was instilled in his daily life. Marcus now trains all of his managers to put Tzedaka first, honoring giving back without looking for recognition.
