The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn, directed by Steven SpielbergTintin is beloved worldwide and is almost as popular and iconic as Mickey Mouse. The creation of Belgian artist Hergé, Tintin first appeared in comic strip form in 1929. With more the 350 million copies of the books sold to date, the tales of the intrepid reporter and his faithful fox terrier dog Snowy have firmly lodged themselves into the hearts and minds of people worldwide.

The first in a planned trilogy, The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn releases this Christmas. It is directed by none other than Steven Spielberg, with Lord of the Rings maestro Peter Jackson producing. Check out the trailer below!

    As a fan of Asterix, I wish that Spielberg and Jackson had done those films. This out to revitalize the long-dormant Tintin books.
