Video: ‘Moment of Truth’

posted by mkress

Last week, Ellen Leventry reviewed Fox’s new reality show “Moment of Truth“–wherein contestants answer questions while hooked up to a polygraph machine–and said she is unsure of the show’s ethical implication. Here’s video from one recent episode. What do you think of this concept?

I think this show is going to breed much more distrust and greed. Exactly what America needs right now, huh? It’s ugly that we find entertainment in this, I am guilty of watching it, but it’s not hard to change the channel. I think Lost is on at the same time.
We need to stop going for the money at no cost and with no concern of self dignity. It’s our human imperfection that we have thoughts less than pretty. It’s sin that we have done things we are not proud to admit, what is it then when we go on television and admit these thoughts and acts in front of people who are going to be hurt or lose trust in us all for money? What kind of people are we becoming? Successful? I would like to believe in my fantasy mind that it is staged. Would make my heart feel better. Be nice when responding…is love and forgiveness that God wants us to learn here. (my opinion, my comment)
