How to Tell if a Pineapple is Ripe

1. Pick the pineapple up and sniff the bottom, which should have a sweet smell.
2. Next, pull out a leaf, which should come out easily, which indicates it’s ripe.

    I buy a pineapple that is yellow as it can be. If a leaf pulls out easily if it’s green, I still wouldn’t buy it.
