Have a Magnificent Day!

red-sea-crossing2

From “The Secret Door to Success” by Florence Scovel Shinn:

One of the most dramatic stories in the bible is the episode of the children of Israel crossing the Red Sea.  Moses was leading them out of the land of Egypt where they were kept in bondage and slavery.  They were being pursued by the Egyptians.

We might say that Moses pounded faith into the children of Israel.  They preferred being slaves to their old doubts and fears (for Egypt stands for darkness), than to take the giant swing into faith, and pass through the wilderness to their Promised Land.

There is, indeed, a wilderness to pass through before your Promised Land is reached.  The old doubts and fears encamp round about you, but, there is always someone to tell you to go forward!  There is always a Moses on your pathway.  Sometime it is a friend, sometimes intuition!

“And the Lord said to Moses, Why do you cry unto me?  Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward!

Now, remember, the bible is talking about the individual.  It is talking about your wilderness, your Red Sea, and your Promised Land.  You have a heart’s desire, but you have been so enslaved by the Egyptians (your negative thoughts and behaviors), it seems very far away and too good to be true.  You consider trusting God a very risky proposition.  The wilderness might prove worse than the Egyptians.

Go Forward!

“GOD’S WAYS ARE INGENIOUS, HIS METHODS SURE.  GOD MAKES A WAY WHERE THERE IS NO WAY, I AM DIVINELY LED.”

“I GIVE THANKS FOR THIS PERFECT DAY!  MIRACLE SHALL FOLLOW MIRACLE AND WONDERS SHALL NEVER CEASE!”

I Am

No One Can Withhold Your Good From You!

People may think that others affect their results and success and have power over them.  Or that other people help or hurt them and their good comes from outside circumstances, people or events.

Your good comes to you from within your own being.  God is the fountainhead of all your good.  You are the source.

“My good cannot be withheld from me.  My good cannot be taken from me.  No person, thing or event can keep that from me which the universe has for me now.  The universe has unlimited good for me and I accept it, receive it and experience it now.”

Catherine Ponder

Nothing anyone says or does can withhold your good or affect you unless you let them.  Your thoughts and fears actually keep your good away from you.  Breakthrough negative belief systems.  Develop an invincible positive mental attitude and create your good from the inside out.

Stop spending time and sharing your dreams with negative people.  Stop talking about negative situations and complaining.  It requires strength and courage to think and speak words of freedom and upliftment.  This allows you to rise above our own limited thoughts and patterns and grow through life’s lessons to increased levels of understanding and wisdom.

Focus on positive beliefs and thoughts.  Speak positive words and self-talk.  It gives you strength and hope and attracts your good.

This is the power of affirmations.  They create a positive energy and momentum in your life.  They keep you focused on the good.  Your words have miraculous power upon your body, relationships and financial affairs.

Your occasional setbacks, challenges and periodic difficulties are for your ultimate good and benefit.  Even if you cannot see the good from your present circumstances or vantage point, everything is for your good.

By staying calm and letting life be the way it is, you do not resist the challenging times and allow them to fade away.  This is a much wiser strategy then resisting and fighting such times and situations as it only makes them last longer and depletes your energy and resources.

Your greatest potential and truest possibilities can never be taken from you.

You are here to do great things and you create your good from within.

Keep your vision and imagination clear and bright!

You can do anything!

The Last Cab Ride

I arrived at the address and honked the horn.  After waiting a few minutes I walked to the door and knocked.  ‘Just a minute’, answered a frail, elderly voice. I could hear something being dragged across the floor.

After a long pause, the door opened.  A small woman in her 90’s stood before me.  She was wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat with a veil pinned on it, like somebody out of a 1940’s movie.

By her side was a small nylon suitcase.  The apartment looked as if no one had lived in it for years.  All the furniture was covered with sheets.

There were no locks on the walls, no knickknacks or utensils on the counters.  In the corner was a cardboard box filled with photos and glassware.

‘Would you carry my bag out to the car?’ she said.  I took the suitcase to the cab, then returned to assist the woman.

She took my arm and we walked slowly toward the curb.  She kept thanking me for my kindness.  ‘It’s nothing’, I told her.  ‘I just try to treat my passengers the way I would want my mother to be treated.’

‘Oh, you’re such a good boy, she said.  When we got in the cab, she gave me an address and then asked, ‘Could you drive through downtown?’

‘It’s not the shortest way,’ I answered quickly. ‘Oh, I don’t mind,’ she said.  ‘I’m in no hurry. I’m on my way to a hospice. ’

I looked in the rear-view mirror.  Her eyes were glistening.  ‘I don’t have any family left,’ she continued in a soft voice.. the doctor says I don’t have very long.’

I quietly reached over and shut off the meter.  ‘What route would you like me to take?’ I asked.

For the next two hours, we drove through the city.  She showed me the building where she had once worked as an elevator operator.  We drove through the neighborhood where she and her husband had lived when they were newlyweds.

She had me pull up in front of a furniture warehouse that had once been a ballroom where she had gone dancing as a girl.  Sometimes she’d ask me to slow in front of a particular building or corner and would sit staring into the darkness, saying nothing.

As the first hint of sun was creasing the horizon, she suddenly said, ‘I’m tired.  Let’s go now’.  We drove in silence to the address she had given me.  It was a low building, like a small convalescent home, with a driveway that passed under a portico.

Two orderlies came out to the cab as soon as we pulled up.  They were solicitous and intent, watching her every move.  They must have been expecting her.

I opened the trunk and took the small suitcase to the door.  The woman was already seated in a wheelchair.

‘How much do I owe you?’  She asked, reaching into her purse.  ‘Nothing,’ I said.  You have to make a living,’ she answered.  ‘There are other passengers,’ I responded.

Almost without thinking, I bent and gave her a hug.  She held onto me tightly.  ‘You gave an old woman a little moment of joy,’ she said.  ‘Thank you.’

I squeezed her hand, and then walked into the dim morning light.  Behind me, a door shut.  It was the sound of the closing of a life..

I didn’t pick up any more passengers that shift.  I drove aimlessly lost in thought.  For the rest of that day, I could hardly talk.  What if that woman had gotten an angry driver, or one who was impatient to end his shift?  What if I had refused to take the run,  or had honked once, then driven away?

On a quick review,  I don’t think that I have done anything more important in my life.  We’re conditioned to think that our lives revolve around great moments.  But great moments often catch us unaware, beautifully wrapped in what others may consider a small one.

“A little acknowledgement goes a long way.”

expect miracles

This very moment is all that you have.  Right now is the only time available to create what you want in your life.

It does not happen in the future, it does not happen in the past.  Your life happens right now in this moment.

Do you expect good things to happen to you?  Are you consistently open and positive to life and expecting good for yourself and others?

Even more important, do you expect miracles to happen?  In order to experience miracles, you have to believe that miracles are possible.  Do you believe in miracles?

It takes just as much energy to thing small as it does to think big.  So what would happen if you expand your consciousness and think big right now?

The freedom of choice allows you to think, believe and choose whatever you want.  You create your own reality from your thoughts, beliefs, feelings and actions.  You are an all powerful force created by God with co-creative ability.

Maintain a consistent, focused attention and positive mental attitude.  It is critical to creating and having a prosperous life.  It empowers you to attract and manifest wonderful relationships, experiences, health & abundance.

Program your own mind and life instead of letting TV, radio, the internet, advertising, society, the government, and others program you.  Surround yourself with positive, uplifting and supportive people and things.

Consciously choose to expect the best in yourself, in others and in life.  Acknowledge that miracles do happenBe open to thinking big and receiving big.  Think MEGA!

I give thanks for this perfect day, miracle shall follow miracle and wonders shall never cease.”

“The unexpected now happens, my seemingly impossible good now manifests.”

Acknowledge that you are a Miracle Maker!
There is GOLD DUST in the air!

Prosperously yours,
