Have a Magnificent Day!

We must become the change we want to see in the world.”

                        Gandhi

It is easy to complain and talk about how bad things are.
If you listen to most conversations, people complain a lot.

The problem is that complaining locks you into that negative energy.
It keeps you stuck.

It is wise to take responsibility in your life and create solutions.
It is powerful to be creative and to improve yourself and the situations you are in.

Our world has changed radically over the past few years.
The economy will never go back to the way it was before the Great Recession.

The government is not going to bail us out, corporate America is not going to provide for our health insurance or retirement.  It is time to stop looking for someone else to take care of us.
We must learn to be responsible for ourselves and learn how to self-generate.

This is a new time and a new way of being in the world economy.
People are learning to listen to their own truth and to take care of their own health.

Let’s elect ourselves to be responsible for our own lives and to set a standard of excellence
in our lives so that others can be inspired and take heart to know that they can do it too.

You can transform your problems and challenges into new opportunities.
You have to take action and do something about them and make a choice for change.

All of your thoughts and dreams are great, yet it is your positive and focused action that bring your dreams into reality.  Now is the time.

Take the next step.  Go for it.  Take a risk.  You can do it.

An Attitude of Gratitude:

The best place to start is right here, right now.
There is so much for us all to be thankful for.

I would like to acknowledge and thank all of you for making this blog such a success in a short period of time.  This blog is for you, to motivate, inspire and empower you to actualize your divine potential.  I am thankful to contribute to your well being, in body, mind and spirit.

We live in interesting times.  Our world continues to speed up with the increasing technology of computers, instant communication and the Internet. The only constant is change, yet the key principles of the universe, The Natural Laws do not change.  The truth is always the truth. The Golden Rule is still the Rule of Rules.

Recently, I watched one of my favorite movies of all time, ‘Lost Horizon’ starring Ronald Coleman and produced by Frank Capra.  It is one of the most enlightening movies every produced by Hollywood.  The highlight of the movie for me is when Father Perot, who is over 200 years old shares the basic philosophy of Shangra La with the world famous Robert Conway, simply be kind.

The greatest gift we can give ourselves and others is to be kind and gentle.
Life is a process of unfolding into our true essence and magnificence.  Being hard on ourselves or others does not make life better.  I am not talking about when it is appropriate to be straight, I am specifically refering to having compassion, care and patience with ourselves and others.  Life is full of challenges and difficult lessons.  Until you have walked in someone elses shoes, you truly cannot imagine what they are going through.  Even if you have gone through a similiar experience, it is never the same for each person.

Our world is full of opportunities for greatness, unconditional love and kindness.
Every day presents us with moments that we can make a difference with ourselves and others.

In watching the movie ‘Social Network’ I was struck by how hard people were on each other.
The movie depicted life at Harvard and how young people today relate to life and each other.
Yes, they are brilliant with computers and technology, yet in terms of relationships they seemed so lost and seperate.

The movie shows how a number of college students were involved in the creation of Facebook.  Yes, it is a great Internet website and social networking place.  I realize they have made millions of dollars and the main character is the youngest billionaire.  I just wonder what quality of life all of the people involved have.  I just wonder how much true joy, health, happiness, peace and unconditional love they experience.

‘A little compassion, a little kindness and a little acknowledgement goes a long way!’

‘With Divine Enthusiasm I bless all that I have and look with wonder and gratitude at their abundant increase,’

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds:  Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world.  Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”

                                                   Patanjali

Purpose is the essence of why we are here.

What is your true purpose for being here?

Go beyond your mind and dive deep into your soul and spirit.

What do you discover?  Why are you here?

What is your heroic mission?

You can achieve anything.

Enjoy the journey.

Because the essence of every person is the same, everyone has the same potential to be fully awake.  The only differences between people are their mental states and states of consciousness, both of which determine their experiences.

Some people may experience partial spiritual awakening which occurs spontaneously without understanding it or knowing how to nurture it.  Others may aspire to experience a quickening of their dormant powers and clarification of their awareness, but lack knowledge of how to prepare for it.

While you are still learning and spiritually growing, constantly “see” yourself as being spiritually enlightened.  You will then be more likely to do the helpful things you need to do and continuously attract supportive events and circumstances that will sustain you and confirm you are on your right course in life.  Be so devoted to constructive spiritual practices that you cannot be distracted from your goals.

Spiritual enlightenment is not a goal to be achieved or a state of consciousness to be attained.  It is the restoration of our consciousness to its original wholeness.

Pray to be inspired, highly motivated, supported and guided on your spiritual path.  Insights will emerge into your conscious mind; your actions will be purposeful; unexpected good fortune will be provided by God’s grace and your powers of intellectual discrimination and intuition will become highly developed.

Do your utmost to rise above all limiting mental attitudes, state of consciousness and inclinations to act in ways that are not for your highest good.  Flawless Self-knowledge that alone provides complete freedom is available to you now.

I am spiritually aware, mentally peaceful, emotionally stable, physically healthy, have ideal personal relationships and circumstances and always thrive and flourish in all aspects of my life.”
