Education

From “The New Heart At Work” by Jacqueline Miller and Heidi Alber

“Making Waves,” The Ripple Effect by John and Regina Scully:

“Without water we all would wither and die and so it is with our children.  Unless we give them the equivalent gift to, not only sustain life, but also to be the best possible citizens of the world, we have missed an opportunity to impact life as we know it today.

Education is a birthright for all and one which requires a great deal more attention.  What brilliant minds have we passed over because our focus on excellent education has been limited to certain areas, certain children as well as funds drawn away for more important issues?  A child’s zip code should not affect the quality of education they receive.  What could be more important than shaping the future leaders of our country and the world with integrity and humility?  Our children, like water, must be treated with the utmost respect.  We must give them the tools to succeed, guide them as we would a plan to irrigate a desert.  Wonderful things can happen in a parched desert.  An oasis full of life can be created and sustained.

It is incumbent upon us to create the perfect wave, to throw the pebble into the water and let it reach the farthest shores.  Educating a child changes the individual, changes their family, changes the community, affects the state, changes the country and affects the world.  It is truly the ripple effect.  Self-esteem, self-determination, consciousness, integrity, dignity, and respect affect us all.  We have the means to accomplish this investment in our children.  Let’s all get in the water and make waves and cause a tsunami of transformation.

The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”

“Until the great mass of the people shall be filled with the sense of responsibility for each other’s welfare, social justice can never be attained.”

Secret Door to Success II,

“The Secret Door to Success” by Florence Scovel Shinn:

People all want to know how to open the secret door of success.

For every person there is success, but it seems to be behind a door or wall.  As in the wonderful story of Jericho – when the walls came falling down.  Of course all biblical stories have metaphysical interpretation.

What is your wall of Jericho?  Do you see how it separates you from success?  Nearly everyone has built a wall around their own Jericho.  The city you are not able to enter, contains great treasures; your divinely designed success, your heart’s desire!

Let go of any and all negative thoughts, feelings and energy regarding anyone or anything.  Acknowledge and let go, forgive, bless and release.  Discover peace within your heart.  Living in the past, complaining of your misfortunes, builds a thick wall around your Jericho.  Stay focused and positive.

Success is not a secret, it is a System

Many people are up against the wall of discouragement.  Courage and endurance are part of the system.  We read this in the lives of all successful men and women.  They crumbled their walls of Jericho!

“THE WALLS OF LACK AND DELAY NOW CRUMBLE AWAY AND I ENTER MY PROMISED LAND, UNDER GRACE AND IN PERFECT WAYS.”

“I HAVE A WONDERFUL BUSINESS IN A WONDERFUL WAY AND I GIVE WONDERFUL SERVICE FOR WONDERFUL PAY!”

prosperously yours,

Life can be full of beautiful sunflowers and nature’s bounty.  Enjoy the splendor and drink it in.

Life can also be challenging and at times requires you to dig down to the depths of your soul.  In these times, tap into your faith and trust in the goodness of life.

No matter how tough the situation is, it is a part of life and it too shall pass.  Accept the moment, let your intuition guide you and respond appropriately.

You may be forced to start fresh, regardless of your age or experience.  A new beginning with an open attitude is a good place to start.

Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”

Confucius

Life has a way of humbling all of us, it can cut right to the core.  These are the times when we rise in spirit and let the rest follow.

Our world is so full of lessons and opportunities for growth.  Trust your intuition, proceed with right action and proper conduct.

In the short time we have here on earth,
It is surely our duty,
To do all the good we can,
To all the people we can,
In all the ways we can.”

William Barclay

Finish strong!

Practice Random Kindness

What is the fastest way to feel good and turn your life around?  Give…..and give with kindness and love.

Doing good deeds, thinking good thoughts and having good feelings create good belief systems.  It also feels good.  Helping other people is an amazing way to create good for yourself in so many ways.

When you do something good for someone else, you take your focus off yourself.  This is one of the best ways to cure any type of negativity, worry, anxiety or fear.  You can’t think or be fearful about yourself when you are focused and present helping someone else.

The mind is a terrible thing to waste and too much time and energy is wasted by people thinking, especially about negative things.  95% of all negative thoughts never happen.  What would happen if you stopped worrying and being negative?  Doing something positive like helping someone else is a great alternative.

Can you imagine what the world would be like if every person did something nice for another person every day?  People can be so consumed with selfishness and trying to take care of themselves.  One of the wonderful benefits of helping others is that you feel great and also create a lot of good for yourself in the process.

“It is one of the most beautiful compensations in life…that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.”

                                                          Ralph Waldo Emerson

Just smiling at someone, a kind word, opening the door for another, or letting someone in front of you while driving can change a person’s day.  It is incredible what a random act of kindness can do, not just for the person receiving but for the person giving too.

Take a chance and see what happens by making eye contact with a stranger and smiling.  See what happens and what your day is like by doing three kind things today.  Start looking at how you can help others every day and watch your life expand with joy and fulfillment.

We can change the world……
