Have a Magnificent Day!

The Science of Becoming Excellent

posted by The MEGA Coach

In reviewing one of my favorite authors, Wallace D. Wattles, “The Science of Becoming Excellent,”
I came across some wonderful information that I want to share with you.

“It is essential to our happiness that we should continuously advance.”

To be successful, to be happy we must grow and develop in our lives or we stagnate.
When we are growing and expanding and learning new things, we stimulate our health and creativity.
If we stagnate, we hurt ourselves, our health and well being and actually start to decay.
You are either growing or dying, there is no in between.

Remember that growth includes a number of key areas.
You grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and financially.
So it is important to grow in a balanced and harmonious way.
Although you may find it easier to grow in one way or another, it is necessary to grow in all of these areas.

“We were formed for growth and all things external were designed to promote our growth.”

“You are a god in the company of gods and must conduct yourself accordingly.”

By living these key principles you will discover success in all areas of your life.  Encourage your growth in all key areas and know that in your growth and overcoming whatever challenges may come, that you are actualizing your full, creative potential.  Also, whatever circumstances you encounter, they are designed for your best development and greatest possibilities.

By acknowledging that you are created in the image of God, out of God’s energy, you have to be what you truly are.  A magnificent and all powerful, Spiritual Being.  This also requires that you acknowledge that all other people are also magnificent and all powerful, Spiritual beings.  We must treat each other with the respect we deserve from this viewpoint and reality.  Simply put, we must follow the Golden Rule at all times.

“Be true to yourself and you cannot then be false to anyone.”

Continue to follow your intuition to grow and expand in your natural desires and interests.
Make sure that you give yourself balanced growth, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and financially.  You can be, do and have anything in this world as long as you do not violate the rights of others.

Give yourself your divine plan, under grace and in perfect ways.

Go With The Flow

posted by The MEGA Coach

How is your flow going?
You can create the flow or respond to the flow in the best possible way.
See how this Sea Turtle glides using the flow to maximize his stroke.

The energy and flow of life gives you the same opportunity to maximize your stroke.
Being present and in tune with the flow of the moment, you can navigate the best course.
This allows you to maximize your resources and results.

Life is the playing field for you to actualize your divine potential.
You choose the way you want to play the game and what direction you want to go.
It all flows from your energy, your heart, your thoughts, your words and your actions.

You probably notice that life does not always go the way you plan or that you prefer.
This is when your decisions are very important, as you can waste much of your energy and resources resisting the way things are and attempting to manipulate people and circumstances to be the way you want.  This is the trap of the ego.

There is another path of being aware of what is happening and responding to the moment with the most appropriate choice that is good for all concerned.  You still have free choice, but you are not resisting the moment and the way things are.  You are simply being appropriate and therefore going with the flow and not wasting your resources and precious energy by resisting life.

So much of life is out of your control.  Yet you always have the freedom of choice as to if and how you want to respond.

The past is history, the future is a mystery.
This moment is a gift, that is why it is called the present.

“It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.  But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.  There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.”

Turn Lemons Into Lemonade!

posted by The MEGA Coach

Life can bring powerful challenges that can cause you to lash out at yourself or others.

Keep your composure and share only positive, encouraging thoughts, words and actions.
One of the greatest lessons is learning how to deal with your own anger and moods.
A good friend shared this story with me years ago……

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper.
His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence.
Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.  He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all.
He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.  The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.  The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.

He said, “You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence.
The fence will never be the same.  When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one.
You can put a knife in a man and draw it out.
It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is still there.”

A verbal wound can be as bad or even worse than a physical one.

“Everything said should be true, not everything true should be said.”

“There is a nice way to say everything.”

Your words should be used to heal, delight, inspire & prosper.

Friends are a very rare jewel indeed.
They make you smile and encourage you to succeed;
they lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always open their hearts to us.

Inspire Someone…..Pass It Forward!

The Magnificence of God’s Creation

“The greater the Struggle, the more glorious the Triumph.”

If life was easy, how much would you really grow?
How much would you appreciate your progress, development and achievement?
The greater the goal or achievement the more challenging and worthy the journey.

If you played golf and hit a hole in one every time without any practice or training,
how interested would you be to keep playing?
Where would the challenge be?

The Game of Life has its own rewards.
Are you up for the challenge?
Are you going to finish strong?

Everyone has their cross to bear.
You cannot escape the trials and tribulations of life.
There is hurt, pain, suffering, loss, disappointment, health problems and financial trouble.
There is also joy, love, freedom, gain, hope, inspiration, encouragement, triumph and prosperity.

Life has duality; happy-sad, good-bad, right-wrong, poverty-prosperity, disappointment-hope, life-death, etc.  This duality allows you to experience the range of feelings and situations and to appreciate the distinctions.  Wherever your path takes you, you are sure to find these gifts along the way.  They are here for your growth and development; to actualize your divine potential.

I came across a wonderful inspiration, Nick Vujicic,
He celebrates life and the opportunity to help others.
His disadvantages are now his advantages.
