Being Healthy:
Health allows you to maximize your potential in all areas of your development.  The body and brain is approximately 70% water, so drink lots of water.  You need to drink half of your body weight in ozs. per day.  For example, if you weigh 160 lbs, divide by 2 = 80 oz’s or 10 – 8oz glasses of water a day.  Your body needs the right fuel – 70% green – veggies, salads, fruits and high water content nutrition daily.  If you want to live, eat foods that are alive! 

Your body  thrives on high water content and alkaline foods.  Eating nutritious foods and drinking lots of water will promote proper body weight.  A dehydrated body retains weight and eating processed foods/fast foods, sugar and soda clogs your digestive system and puts on weight. 8 out of 10 Americans are overweight or obese.


In addition to eating healthy and drinking lots of water on a daily basis, exercise is very important.  There are many good forms of exercise.  The most powerful exercise is rebounding – bouncing on a mini-trampoline.  According to NASA, it is the most effective exercise on the planet and astronauts rebound as part of their conditioning program.

Being alive on this planet requires interacting with other people and being an excellent communicator is key to achieving successful relationships.  People have different styles of communicating.  Some are more visual and fast paced, others are a more auditory and a little slower and speak with more resonance and tone and others are more feeling oriented and tend to move slowly.  Although we use all of these three forms of communication, you have a primary communication strategy.  Practice all three of these styles of communication to be a flexible communicator.


Communication is 7% words, 38% tone and 55% body language. 
Most people focus on the words which is the least accurate form of communication, which explains why most people do not do what they say.  Make sure that you focus on people’s tone and body language to determine the congruency of a person’s communication, including yours.

People have different love strategies to know they feel loved.
There are five basic types:

Words and Affirmations
Quality Time
Acts of Service
Physical Touch


It is important that you express your love to another person in their optimal strategy for them to feel acknowledged and loved.  Make sure you know which love language is primary for your spouse, partner, family members and friends.  Communication, acknowledgement and love languages are key to successful relationships.

These same communication skills will strongly effect your success in your career and in business.

Constant & Never-ending Improvement – “CANI”

1) Success- Through a consistent increase in the quality of your life.

Pat Riley talks about having an “excellent game” and “game excellence,” which is consistent.  It is the difference between once and a while achieving excellence in a particular game, versus being excellent each and every game like Michael Jordan.

Are you constantly increasing the quality of your life and business?  This requires small incremental changes and improvements on a daily basis, which accumulate to create momentum in your life.


2) Balance – Are you balancing your growth in all areas with the constant distractions and challenges of life?

Are you growing mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially in your personal and professional relationships?  You are either climbing or sliding – growing or dying. There is no in between.

What is most important to you?
Is it increasing the quality of your life in every area?
Discover what is out of balance in your life and take the appropriate action to create change and improvement.


Your values and core beliefs determine all of your decisions.
Decisions are the Father of Action.

If you want to improve any aspect of your life, you must be totally committed and take consistent action.  You must increase your personal standards, beliefs and values to improve the quality of your life.

CANI” stands for Constant and Never-Ending Improvement.

Choose to commit to Constant and Never-ending Improvement.  Your life becomes better by gradual improvement in each area of your life.  Expanding who you are and how you live.  Growth comes from improvement, which improves quality of life.

Your Circle of Influence

The people you spend the most time with contribute greatly to the quality of your life and success.
These people are your “Circle of Influence” and your inner network.  The fact is that you learn the most from the examples and patterns of the people you spend your time with.  Your subconscious mind takes everything in.  It is as simple as monkey see, monkey do.


This is why it is so important to choose your key friends and associates carefully.  They have a great impact on your beliefs, values and actions.  Be aware and make conscious choices so the people in your Circle of influence truly support and encourage your greatness.  They should be examples of proper principles and aligned with what is most important to you.

You must also have the strength in your convictions to make sure that your purpose and goals are your own true desires and aspirations.  Do not allow other people to make your decisions for you.  No matter how much you respect key people in your life and no matter how much they may want for you, you must follow your own truth and not the desires of someone else.  For in the end, it is your life to live and no one else knows the dreams inside your heart.


Sometimes you may be confused or there may be many distractions or choices that it is difficult for you to tune into your true desires or divine plan.  It is wise to ask for guidance.  Be still so you can discover what is best for you.  Listen to your intuition and your inner voice.  In these cases it is important to be patient and to allow the universe to guide you.  Wait for the right circumstances, people and opportunities to develop and present themselves.  When you are not sure what to do, usually the best choice is non-action until you are clear on how to move forward.

Trust you will progress and succeed.
The universe supports you.
