Have a Magnificent Day!

Keep It Light!

posted by The MEGA Coach

Hummingbirds are incredible creatures.  They can hover in mid-air by flapping their wings 12 to 90 times per second and they are the only bird capable of flying backwards.  Hummingbirds weigh less than a ping pong ball.  They eat just enough every day to last them through the night.

Hummingbirds can teach you important things in life.
Remember, it is wise to keep it light!
Enlightenment gives you a definite clue in the very center of the word.
Make sure that light is at your center.

Why let situations, circumstances, relationships and things in life get you down?  Our culture tends to become attached to “things” and to worry about the future or even live in the past.  By keeping things light and staying in the present moment, you are much more likely to be healthy, happy and successful.

Observe the people around you who are the most joyous, healthy, happy and successful.  You will notice that they keep it light and do not tend to worry.  After all, why worry because it will probably never happen.  Less than 6% of all of your fears ever happen, so give it up and let go.

The more present you are, the more aware you are and the less you spend valuable time and energy thinking or worrying.  Being present is a powerful, healthy and resourceful place to be.

Keep it real,
Keep it clear,
Let it flow.

Have a wonderful and prosperous day!

Five Lessons For A Better World

posted by The MEGA Coach

Movies are wonderful and can be inspirational acknowledgements of what is important in life.  Sometimes the most unusual movies provide valuable lessons.  Although “Nanny McFee Returns” may appear to be a children’s movie, its message should be learned and lived by the entire world.  The movie presents five key lessons that Nanny McFee teaches her children.  They are quite profound.

We have a limited time on this planet and it is wise to learn the most important lessons that impact us all.  It would be wonderful for children all over the world to learn these lessons in their homes, families and schools at a young age.  Looking at our current state of the world, it is clear that many of us need to focus on these simple truths and learn them too.  If we want to create a world of peace, kindness, compassion, cooperation, health and abundance we must follow the basic, proper principles of life.

The Five Lessons:

1)  Stop fighting
2)  Share nicely
3)  Help each other
4)  Be brave
5)  Have faith

What would your world be like if you stopped fighting with yourself and others?
What could you do with all of that extra energy, time and resources?

There are enough resources on this planet to food, shelter and cloth everyone.
What would happen if we truly shared our resources, our care, our kindness and our hearts?

How do you feel when you help someone?
How do you feel when someone reaches out and helps you?
There are times when each of us needs a helping hand.

Life is challenging and tests us all.
In these most difficult moments our true character is revealed.

Also, during life’s challenges and apparent losses, having faith is what sustains us through the darkest times.  Having faith and courage means to see the invisible and believe in the incredible.

Have you noticed that when you need something, life presents you with an opportunity to develop or attract exactly what you are asking for?  Life may not just hand it to you directly, but it provides you with the situation, people, resources and opportunity to develop what you are seeking.

I believe that all of us could use more of these five lessons in our lives and more of these qualities.

Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me!”

Mysterious Ways

posted by The MEGA Coach

A great story by John Cassidy of Centereach, New York

The bank I frequent has a drive-through ATM, which is convenient because it saves me from having to get out and wait in a long teller line inside.

For years, I’ve followed the same routine: I pull up to the machine, make my deposits or withdrawals, then drive over and park in a spot about 50 feet away, underneath a big old stately shade tree, while I tuck my money in my wallet and put away my receipts.  Quick and easy.

One windy summer morning I had a lot of errands to run and was low on cash.  So I drove over to my bank, waited patiently behind another car, then pulled up to the ATM.  I put the car in park and slipped my card into the slot as usual.  But the machine immediately spat it back out.  “Cannot read card,” the screen read.

That’s strange, I thought.  Maybe I’d put the card in the wrong way.  I tried again.  Again the card shot back out.  “Cannot read card.”  I flipped the card over and inspected the magnetic strip.  It sure looked fine.  I couldn’t find any deep scratches or defects.  I rubbed it gently against my shirt in case there was any dirt, and tried one more time.  Spat out again.  “Cannot read card.”

Now I was getting annoyed at the delay in my morning.  I really didn’t want to go inside the bank for a withdrawal.  Judging by all the cars parked in the lot, I would have to wait a while.  “What’s going on here, Lord?” I muttered.

Crack!  What was that? I turned toward the sound.  The leaves of the stately old shade tree by the parking lot shook violently.

Snap!  I watched as the trunk split right down the middle and the right part of the tree calved off to the side, crashing to the ground.  Right in my favorite parking spot.  I could see the exposed inner trunk, clearly rotted through.

I stared in shock, until a car that had pulled up behind me gave me a polite little beep.  On autopilot, I tried my ATM card again.  The screen popped up, asking me what I’d like to do.  Deposit?  Withdraw?  Too bad there wasn’t a button to give thanks.

In truth there is always a way to give thanks.  Just share the feelings from your heart.  Don’t worry about the words, just share your truth.  Giving thanks and being grateful goes a long way!  Let thanksgiving enter your heart.

Have a wonderful and prosperous week!

Happy Thanksgiving…Somewhere Over the Rainbow

posted by The MEGA Coach

“Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true”

Thanksgiving is a day we set aside to be with family and loved ones and share a special meal.
It is a time to reflect on what we are thankful for.
It is a time for joy.

Why don’t we do this every day?
Count your blessings each day and be thankful.

Let the people in your life know how much they mean to you every day.

There is so much focus and energy on the problems in the world instead of on the blessings and the opportunities.  There is so much good happening right now you only have to acknowledge it.  Today, take the opportunity to be thankful in your heart and with your actions share your feelings and kindness with others.

Dreams do come true and there is time for every dream.
Be true to your heart’s desires and keep following your dream.

Have a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous Thanksgiving!
