Your Ultimate Truth

Now Is the Time!

Ultimately, I believe that we all want to be healthy, happy and successful.

The challenge is how do we achieve this spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and financially?
We all have so many hours in the day and our time is so valuable.
How we each spend it is critical to actualize our potential.

The world is so full and offers many choices.
There is so much happening all the time and you can be literally bombarded by all of the information sent your way.  Also, there can be many demands placed on you at home, work and in the world.

Where you give your energy and resources is totally up to you.
The priorities you establish become your focus of attention.
Your beliefs and values color and dictate your choices, decisions and actions.
They determine the quality of your life.

I was watching a video on Warren Buffett, who is one of the richest men in the world and who has achieved great success.  He said something very powerful.  He told how his father shared with him that you can live your life based on the outer scorecard and the things that other people think about you or how the world see you.  Or you can live your life based on your own inner scorecard and the things that are most important to you for your own happiness and success.

The most important person you communicate with is yourself

Deep down inside you, you know what is best for you and what your true potential is.
The question is are you asking yourself these important questions and are you willing to follow your truth and dreams.
What is your purpose for being here?
What is it that you want to contribute to this world?
What is your highest potential?
Write down on paper what you really want and how you will accomplish it.

Our society tends to want everything instantly: how to get rich quick, how to find shortcuts to success in any area.  People are looking for a magic pill to be healthy & successful.  Instead of following proper principles, people want an easy way.  Look at how many lap band surgeries are performed for people to lose weight and the amount of the pills they take.  All they have to do is follow the natural principles of health….to consistently eat nutritious foods  (fruits, veggies, salads, etc), drink lots of water and exercise.

You cannot achieve success or true greatness if you are not willing to put in the time, energy and dedication on a consistent basis.  There is no such thing as an overnight success.  You have to build yourself and develop yourself into a quality person to express your inner potential and greatness.  No one can do it for you, no computer program will make it happen.  The secret is inside of you and you have the power, ability and talent to make it real in the world……your world.

In sports, Michael Jordan is one of the greatest athletes of the past 50 years.  What I find fascinating is his beliefs and values.  His determination, persistence, work ethic is extraordinary.  He also stopped comparing himself to others and focused on how he can improve himself every day and be the best he can be.  He looked at consistent game excellence every game, instead of having an excellent game sometime.

According to the Natural Laws, this is being creative vs. being competitive with others.  You can always compete with yourself, to grow, develop and be better.  Whenever you compare yourself to others, the ego always gets involved and you and others always come up short.  There is always enough for everyone.  This is an abundant universe.  No one else can do what you are here to do.  You are a unique, incredible being!

Life is precious.  Time goes by so quickly.  Make the most of your blessings and gifts.
Discover your heroic mission, your truth and just do it.

Remember, you can have anything you want in life as long as you do not violate the rights of others.
All things are possible….spread the word….there is GOLD DUST in the air!

Keep Your Fork!

Red Rose

There was a young woman who had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and had been given three months to live. So as she was getting her things 'in order,' she contacted her Rabbi and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what outfit she wanted to be buried in. Everything was in order and the Rabbi was preparing to leave when the young woman suddenly remembered something very important to her...

'There's one more thing,' she said excitedly. 'What's that?' came the Rabbi’s reply. 'This is very important,' the young woman continued.. 'I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.' The Rabbi stood looking at the young woman, not knowing quite what to say. 'That surprises you, doesn't it?' the young woman asked.'Well, to be honest, I'm puzzled by the request,' said the Rabbi...

The young woman explained.
'My grandmother once told me this story and from that time on I have always tried to pass along its message to those I love and those who are in need of encouragement. In all my years of attending socials and dinners, I always remember that when the dishes of the main course were being cleared, someone would inevitably lean over and say,'Keep your fork.'  It was my favorite part because I knew that something better was coming...like velvety chocolate cake or deep-dish apple pie.. 'Something wonderful, and with substance!'

'So, I just want people to see me there in that casket with a fork in my hand and I want them to wonder' What's with the fork?' Then I want you to tell them: 'Keep your fork ..the best is yet to come.'

The Rabbi's eyes welled up with tears of joy as he hugged the young woman good-bye. He knew this would be one of the last times he would see her before her death...But he also knew that the young woman had a better grasp of heaven than he did..She had a better grasp of what heaven would be like than many people twice her age, with twice as much experience and knowledge. She KNEW that something better was coming.

At the funeral people were walking by the young woman's casket and they saw the cloak she was wearing and the fork placed in her right hand. Over and over, the Rabbi heard the question, 'What's with the fork?'
And over and over he smiled.

During his message, the Rabbi told the people of the conversation he had with the young woman shortly before she died. He also told them about the fork and about what it symbolized to her. He told the people how he could not stop thinking about the fork and told them that they probably would not be able to stop thinking about it either.

He was right. So the next time you reach down for your fork let it remind you, ever so gently, that the best is yet to come.

Friends are a very rare jewel, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed.

Cherish the time you have, and the memories you share ..... being friends with someone is not an opportunity but a sweet responsibility..

And keep your fork!

blessings,

Wings or Windows?

Life is a process, a journey full of lessons and growth.
It is an opportunity for you to actualize your divine potential.

Life is also a package deal.
There is good and bad, happy and sad, healthy and sick, rich and poor, joy and sorrow, etc.

Accept all of life and know that everything is temporary except love.
Everything comes and goes except love.

Love is the most powerful force in the universe and love is God’s gift and blessing to you.  God’s unconditional love is always available, every moment.

By sharing your love and kindness you fulfill your highest potential.
Love is your essence and true legacy.

“Kindness is a language that we all can understand.
Even the blind can see it and the deaf can hear it.”

                             Mother Teresa

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds:  Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world.  Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”

                            Patanjali

Small steps add up to big movements one step at a time.
Be patient and supportive of yourself.

Make a small change every day and see how much you have grown in 30 days.

“Little things don’t mean a lot, they mean everything.”

Be consistent and move gently and steadily in the same direction and you will create great accomplishments.

The Truth Is In The Details

God's Beauty

Life is amazing.
It becomes even more amazing when you tune into the details.

Look at this beautiful butterfly.
The color and design is incredible.
And as you notice the little details it becomes even more spectacular.

Can you see the patterns in the wings?
Can you see the white spots surrounding the wings and the patterns they make?
Can you see the eyes?
How about the antennas.

Give yourself the opportunity to notice the finer details of yourself, others and life around you.
It enhances your experience, joy and appreciation of the wonder of life.

The truth is in the details, so allow yourself to become even more amazed at the brilliance of life’s tapestry.  There are so many fine threads, and hues, colors and shapes.

Ever been invited for a delicious meal and when you come into the dining room it is dirty and messy.
The table is not set properly, the tablecloth is stained.  The silverware is haphazardly placed and not quite clean.  The glasses are at different angles and there are smudges are them.
How does it affect your expectation of the food?

Even if the food is cooked well and is delicious, will your experience be as enjoyable and fulfilling as if the dining room and table had been prepared as well as the food?
Are there any areas of your life that fit a similar pattern?
Are there times when you treat yourself or others this way?

“The little things don’t mean a lot, they mean everything.”
So allow yourself to be whole, complete and brilliant.
Let yourself shine.
Give yourself the time to do it right.

The finer details or the little things include letting the people you love and care about how wonderful they are.  How powerful is it when you feel acknowledged, recognized or appreciated?
Are you taking the time to share this with others when they deserve it?
Are you giving it to yourself?

God’s beauty is all around you.
Let yourself breathe it in, immerse yourself with the wonder and beauty of life.
Be grateful and share it.

smiles,
