Have a Magnificent Day!

From Stevie Wonder, “A Time To Love.”

Can you picture mother earth in the palm of your hand.
The entire universe as a tiny grain of sand.
And it feels impossible to do.
As I can’t imagine love without you.

You can always look at the negative.
But you should always live in the positive,
So I try everyday to live in that way.

Some people live in the what was and could have been,
As opposed to living in what is and how much they can.
When I see the morning and the sun is smiling down upon me,
I feel joy in the blessing.

Is it possible for people in the world to co-exist?
I say unity is only as big as our vision.
True leaders must guide us through the ills of society that stand in our way.
The road is to harmony, be with the call.

We have time for racism.
We have time for criticism.
Held bondage by our ism’s.
When will there be a time to love?

At this point in history we have a choice to make.
To either walk the path of love or be crippled by our hate.
We have time to create pollution.
We have time to cause confusion.
All wrapped up in our own illusions.
When will there be a time to love?

We have time to conquer nations.
Time for oil excavation.
Hatred, violence and terrorism.
When will there be a time to love?

At this moment in time we have a choice to make.
Father God is watching while we cause mother earth so much pain.
It’s such a shame.

Now’s the time to pay attention.
Yes, now is a time to love.

from my sweet honey…..

GUIDANCE

When I meditated on the word guidance, I kept seeing “dance” at the end of the word.  I remember reading that doing God’s will is a lot like dancing.  In dancing, when two people try to lead, nothing feels right.  The movement does not flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.

When one person relaxes and lets the other person lead, both bodies begin to
flow with the music.  One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.  It is as if two become one body, moving beautifully.  The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the other.

When I saw “G,” I thought of God, followed by “U” and “I” dance.  God, you
and I dance.  This statement is what guidance means to me.  I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life.  Once again, I became willing to let God lead.

True love and relationship is like a dance.  There is a rhythm and music along with a natural giving and receiving.  When one surrenders and let’s go, there is true union and oneness.  There is unconditional love.

May you find this beauty and joy in your love and relationships.

May you see God in each other.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

Life is so interesting.
You can want something so badly and then when it comes you push it away.

Sometimes our minds or old patterns of behavior (mostly fear) get in the way of success.  Just when an opportunity finally presents itself our minds over-analyze the situation.

We come up with logical reasons why something isn’t right.
We find something wrong with another person or a situation.

In fact, we are actually sabotaging our success.
Just when what we want is right in front of us, we do not allow ourselves to have it.

Now sometimes something is definitely inappropriate so we make a wise choice by letting it go.  This is different than what I am sharing.  I am referring to when something is right for us but we do not allow ourselves to have it.  We create a reason or situation that sends the opportunity away.

This is because we do not have a strong enough belief that we deserve it or are worthy of it.  Our fear overrides the potential gain or benefit because our lives will expand in a way that we are not comfortable with.

It requires courage, belief and faith to achieve greatness!
You have to get past being uncomfortable and the fear.

“I dissolve in my own mind, and in the minds of all others, any idea that my own good can be withheld from me.  That which is for my highest good now comes to me through God’s grace and in perfect ways.”

You are the source of your life.
You are the source of your beliefs, values, actions and results.

This also equates with the fact that you are totally responsible for your life and choices.  Often, life presents itself differently than we would like…..things happen.
This could be in your personal relationships, health, home, financial situation, career, etc.  Life is full of changes and outcomes.  It comes in many shapes and sizes.

Yet always, life actually is supporting you for your highest growth or success.
Your present attitude, perceptions, emotions or situation do not always reflect this truth.

It requires a strong, honest and courageous person to not take things personally.  It requires clarity, center and balance to observe the reality of truth in the moment.  It requires a higher perspective to not be caught up in the drama.

You can take responsibility for your life and for your choices and circumstances.
Or you can complain, criticize or blame others because things are not the way you want.

If a situation is challenging, or seems negative, complaining, blaming or hurting others only makes it worse.  It does not change the source of the problem or create a solution.

The best thing to do when in conflict is to stop, detach and let go.
The first one to peace always wins.

If there is a problem with someone in your life, the best thing you can do is to have a sincere, compassionate conversation with them and share your feelings and truth with the intention to clear up and misconceptions.

At the core of every person is their natural, pure, good essence.
Trust this reality, speak to this reality and always see their higher self.

Give peace a chance.
Be the first to create peace and others may just follow.
