Giant Panda Mother and Cub

The most powerful bond is a mother and her child.
A mother is unconditional in her love for her children.

Without the wonderful mother’s in this world caring for their children, where would our planet be?
Where would you be?   How many people would not have become the success they are without their moms?

Think of all that your mother, grandmothers, aunts and other special “mothers” have done for you.
What a blessing they are and what an incredible contribution they make.

A mother does not even have to think before usually sacrificing anything for her child.
I am blessed to have a wonderful mother who is still with me
and my grandmother lived to be almost 102 years old.
I was blessed to have her in my life for almost 50 years.

Grandma Yvette passed away late in 2007.
My wife, Denise and I were finally married on her 100th birthday in her home.
It was a special time of joy for our family.  I know what it meant to my Mom and Grandma.
It meant the world to me to share this joy on such a special day.

We had a private ceremony in my Grandma’s living room with just my immediate family.
Also, my Spiritual Godmother, Francesca was there too.
We met over 25 years earlier in a flower shop in NYC and have been very close ever since.
Francesca is my spiritual advisor and she turns 90 this September.

Our elders and matriarchs provide special wisdom, guidance, truth and clarity for us.
They have life experience that is well beyond our years and our eyes.
I am fortunate to have wonderful, wise and loving women in my life
who have made me the man I am today.

On this Mother’s Day I give thanks for my dear Mom, Grandma, Spiritual Godmother and my sweet honey.

God blesses us with special “mothers” to guide us on our path.

I hope you appreciate yours too and acknowledge them from your heart.

smiles,
🙂 Lee
