My Godmother, Francesca sent me a book by John Randolph Price, “The Abundance Book.”
It is wonderful and now I am reading one of his other books, “Nothing Is Too Good To Be True.”
I highly recommend his information because it is a reflection of the consciousness of this wonderful man and special being.  He is very real and practical and offers great wisdom and experience.

I came upon this passage in the chapter, Let it be Done and I trust it will ring true for many of you:

“Those of us on the spiritual path have tried so hard to bring our lives up to the divine standard, and have used every spiritual tool we’ve found in books or heard about in workshops to grow more fruit on our vines.  We’ve affirmed and spoken the word, imagined and visualized, treated and prayed, meditated and practiced the Presence, forgiven seventy times seven and released the guilt to Spirit, journaled questions and listened for the answers, thought positively and felt powerfully, worked with angels and called on spiritual guides, wrote new spiritual contracts and tossed the old ones, and practiced nonjudgment and unconditional love – sometimes with clenched teeth.

And we’ve made some progress along the way.  But are we “there” yet?  Maybe it’s time to stop pressing and let Spirit have Its own way with us – to relax more, get loose, and let the Divine Plan be revealed in all its glory.  It could be that we’ve been so focused on trying to make things happen spiritually that we’ve actually impeded the creative activity of Spirit.  This preoccupation with satisfying the wants of life through what we consider spiritual mind-action may have taken us out of the stream of the natural process, where everything is already being done as the will, way, word, and work of God.  Let’s go the way of the Lord-God-Self and become an instrument for Spirit.
Let it be done.”

I felt something ease inside my heart when I read this last night.  Sometimes we try so hard to do it right.
My friends Shya & Ariel Kane say that,”working on yourself, doesn’t work.”  They actually have a great book with this title.  I spent a lot of time with them, as they have a gift for sharing how to live in the moment and let life be the way it is.

On your path to your “goals” or “success,” I hope you allow yourself to be here, the way you are and to give others the same grace.  There are no mistakes and there is nothing wrong with you.  You are a gift and here to unfold and express your divine potential.

“Let peace come forth in every mind.
Let love flow forth from every heart.
Let forgiveness reign in every soul.
Let understanding be the common bond.”
