A Higher Purpose

posted by The MEGA Coach

‘We are on earth but a little while.  The real reason for being here is very different from what most people imagine.  There is a fundamental purpose for our lives.  To know it, we must know life’s origin and where it is going, look beyond our short-term goals to what we ultimately want to accomplish, and consider life’s highest potential for development.’

 Paramahansa Yogananda

In a recent interview, Oprah Winfrey said that one of the most amazing blessings in life is to know why you are here and to be able to focus on your purpose and share it with the world.  She has given away well over $300 million to help others and intends on leaving her fortune to charity.

Each of us has a Higher Purpose for being here.  There is something you are to do that no one else can do. You are a unique and brilliant creation of God.  Do not confuse your own significance by comparing yourself to someone else.  Every one of God’s children has a special purpose to fulfill and an infinite potential to actualize. Each soul is equal in importance to their Father.

Seek to discover your true purpose for being here.  Ask sincerely for divine wisdom to express through you and share with you your Higher Purpose.  Than listen to that still, small voice within and go forward with all your might.

Share your light and let it be a beacon for others.

smiles,
:) Lee

Knowing what my higher purpose is, has always eluded me. I just finished reading what you have written today Lee and I suddenly I realized that some of us may have small “daily” purposes which go unnoticed by the masses but are significant to a few. Yesterday I received the most complimentary and moving e-mail from someone who came into my life for a short period of time two years ago. Here is part of the compliment that was given to me:
“…you have been quite an inspiration to me. The way you saw life, the relationship you have with your children, what you hold dear to you… you showed me without doing anything other than simply being, that elegance, refinement, inner-strength, wisdom, spirituality, and truly Dali-Lama like Compassion, really can exist in the world.”
So my purpose may be to simply be me … genuinely me …unnoticed by the masses but significant to a few. The few are just as important as the masses. I am grateful to the author of that e-mail because my self-wort has just gone up a notch.

Life is so beautiful and yet so hard for so many. It is truley the simple things that we over look everyday that truly matter. Holding a door open for someone, a smile from afar, talking to a stranger and having an exchange of words that are not relevent at the time , but can become clear later in your moment of clarity… Life is about yourself and understanding how to achieve a higher self. Never stop believing in all that you are, because you are all and all is ever lasting..
