A New Moment Is Here

posted by The MEGA Coach

As the year 2010 comes to an end over the holidays, people are busy and often caught up in the drama and hustle of the holidays.   People want to create new goals for the upcoming year and get away from the challenges or even pain of last year’s outcomes.

First, before something new can be created, you must let go of the past…..let go of the old.  Otherwise, there is no room to create something new.

How can you go from one trapeze to the other, if you do not let go of the trapeze you are holding on to?  Life is the same; it requires letting go and a bold leap of faith toward a new trapeze.

You must let go of all belief systems, thoughts, words, feelings and behaviors of the old pattern.  You must consistently keep letting go if any of the old pattern comes up.

Keep your focus on the present moment, on what is happening in front of you.  Keep your thoughts, words and actions on what you want to create now.

It is a new moment.  The present and the future do not equal the past…. Unless you choose to keep bringing the past into the present and re-create it.

Let it go…. Erase those tapes…. Start a completely new file.

Create a brand new story and movie script.

    Dear Sir;
    How can a person let go of the past if that is what defines what we do next … in my culture holy men advise us to sit for a while and cleanse our selves from the trespasses of the past and try to set new goals for the future and maybe that is what you mean by letting go … but i can not let go … i keep remembering … Could you help me … Thanks

    Dear Ester,
    The past does NOT define what we do next. We each are free to choose each moment what we think, feel, say and do. This is the freedom of choice and the co-creative ability that God blesses us all with.
    The past does NOT equal the present or the future unless we repeat the same beliefs, thoughts, words and actions and recreate the past.
    All that matters is that you choose to acknowledge this is a new moment of now and that every moment is a new moment. The point of power is in the present moment. This moment is where transformation takes place. It is up to you. If you say that you cannot let go, you are right….if you say you can let go, you are right. What do you really want because this is your time.
    The past is dead, so let it go.
    Start fresh and create the life and goals that you truly desire.
    You can do it! :) Lee
