The Power of Thought

posted by The MEGA Coach

The power of our thinking is an instrument for success or failure.  The same power of thought, when rightly directed, is the key to healthy, happy, successful living.

‘As a man thinketh within himself, so is he.’

Proverbs 23:7

‘Thou shalt decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee and light shall shine upon thy way.’

Job 22:28

‘Through his thoughts, man holds the key to every situation and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which he may make himself what he wills.’

James Allen, As a Man Thinketh

Our potential wealth, health and happiness are actually within us, waiting to be radiated outward into the world as healthy, wealthy, happy thoughts, feelings, beliefs, expectations and decrees, which in turn attract like results into our lives.

Examples of Greatness and Success:

Christopher Columbus saw a round planet earth when everyone else thought the world was flat and that he would sail off the edge looking for the new world.  Yet he convinced Queen Isabella to stake his voyage to discover the new world.  How was he able to convince a Queen that his vision and belief was real?  What was his commitment to his truth and dream?  His belief system was completely the opposite of his world and fellow man and he succeeded against all odds.

During the revolutionary war the founding fathers of America shared their vision of a free and independent United States and individuals and families around the country rallied around it and defeated the British Empire, whose power and might dwarfed the young American colonies.  How did such a young, inexperienced nation with hardly any army or resources defeat the mighty British army and navy?  It was the power and commitment of their belief and desire to be free, as God intended all of us to be.

What you focus your attention on is where your energy goes.

Choose your thoughts and how you want to live consciously.
You are the thoughts you have, the food you eat and the people you spend most of your time with.

Choose your your friends carefully, as well as your career and your environments for home and work.

Nurture your dreams, protect them and make them real.
All things are possible.  You can do it…..if you believe.

blessings,

My belief is simple…”our lives are based on our choices”. I have read many books including the bible. My feeling about this subject from Genesis to Revelation is basicly two parts: God used imperfect people for His Perfect Plan and God gave us free will( a choice).
We make “LIFE” simple or hard because of what we think, feel, or do.
    Our thoughts activate our actions….
