Today, we read about Moses and Aaron’s first encounter with Pharoh. When Moses went to Pharoh and said, “Let my people go,” Pharoh basically said, “Uh no, and now they make bricks with no straw. Hahahaha! Take that, Moses!”
So Moses went back to God and asked, “Lord, why have You brought trouble on this people? Why is it You have sent me? For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in Your name, he has done evil to this people; neither have You delivered Your people at all.”
Yup, I can understand that feeling. Have you ever experienced that feeling? That you spoke up for God or did something that you know He wanted you to do, and made it all worse for someone else?
But we’ll read today what God has to say about that. Here are the readings for today, January 28, 2010:

Exodus 5:1-6:30
Psalm 16:7-11
Proverbs 5:7-14
Matthew 18:21-35
You can find all of the passages at BibleGateway.com.
And if you’ve missed some readings, here is the list for January 2010.
