Skillettour.jpgRockers Skillet are gearing up for the August 25th release of their already-critically acclaimed new album Awake with plans for a 50-city tour.
The Awake And Alive Tour will feature Skillet, along with special guests Hawk Nelson, Decyfer Down and The Letter Black.
The band’s Comatose tour landed Skillet landed on Pollstar’s Concert Pulse list of Top 50 tours, with 70% of the shows sold out. The new tour promises to offer more excitement.
“Skillet wants this to be the biggest, baddest tour we’ve ever done, and we’re happy to be going out with these bands,” says front man John Cooper. “We always try to put everything we have into our shows and the Awake And Alive Tour will not disappoint – we’re pulling out all the bells and whistles we can, and these new songs are going to be incredible to perform live. We can’t wait to get out there and see everyone – our fans are amazing.”
The tour kicks off September 24 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and ends December 6 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, hitting cities across the country in between. (Tour dates at the end of this post.)
