American Idol fans will remember season 7 contestant Alexis Cohen’s famous “Take it! Take it!” comment to the cameras and her promise that she’d make it in “actressing.” She was back in season 8 for another shot, but got the boot from judges.Cohen made headlines this week but unfortunately, not for her talent. The Idol wannabe was the victim of a hit and run driver in Seaside Heights, NJ. The 25-year-old is a native of Allentown, PA. RollingStone.com reports that 23-year-old Daniel Bark has been charged with death by reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. Cohen’s body was found by two pedestrians more than 1,000 feet away from her own parked car.
