MeganCorkreyMotownweek.jpgLast night on American Idol, Michael Sarver was sent home. I don’t think that anyone was surprised, but was was shocking was that Matt Giraud was in the bottom three.
Honestly, most everyone I talked with thought for sure that Megan Corkrey would at least be in the bottom three. Even DialIdol.com had her in the bottom three; the site uses busy signals to gauge which contestants are getting the most calls and is usually pretty accurate with predictions.
Then I got the results of the weekly research from HCD, which asks viewers to rate the American Idol judges during the live performance show, and also give feedback on the contestants they think should go home.

Once again, Randy Jackson was the favorite judge, and this week Simon Cowell the least liked.
But what was interesting was the feedback from viewers on who they thought should go home last night. According to HDC, the “three contestants with the highest percentages to be voted off were Megan Joy (31%), Michael Sarver (17%) and Anoop Desai (12%).”
Megan was right up there on top of the bottom. Or the bottom of the bottom. Can anyone tell me how she’s managed to stay in the competition week after week? And how Matt, who hit it out of the park on Wednesday, was in the bottom three this week?
What do you think? Will Megan go home soon? Did Matt deserve to be in the bottom three? Who do you think is going to end up in the Top 5?
