Mae.jpg Rockers Mae have released the second song in their 12 months of music and charity as they continue on their quest to raise $65,000 in donations to fully fund the construction of a home for Rhonda Floyd and her three children in Newport News, VA.
Every month in 2009, the band is releasing a new song exclusively on their website. Fans can download the song for a minimum donation of $1, and the profits from the digital downloads will fund humanitarian projects that the band and their fans will be a part of all year long.

So far, the band has raised $11,000 towards the Habitat for Humanity home. You can help the band by downloading the new song, “Boomerang,” by visiting Mae’s website and making a donation of at least $1.
You can also help Mae fund their humanitarian efforts by voting for the band at Ideablob.com. The band says:
“Ideablob.com is holding a contest to give away $10,000 to whichever business idea receives the most votes. If our idea, ‘Music to Make a Difference,’ receives the most votes we will be able to put the $10,000 prize towards the Habitat for Humanity house we are sponsoring. We have until the end of the month to get the most votes and we need your votes to win! Please help our cause and take a minute to vote for us at the link below.”
