Building 429 heads out in February for another leg of their “Truth, Hope & Love Tour.” Joining them will be Grammy-nominated After Edmund and newcomers Above The Golden State and Kimber Rising.I love when I can tell you about bands like Building 429, because I’ve actually had a chance to chat with them during interviews over the years (and at one very interesting fondue event, where we had a lovely discussion about Jesus Junk while Stellar Kart had a food fight at the next table). They are humble, kind, encouraging and genuine. Oh, and let’s not forget great artists. They broke onto the music scene with “Glory Defined,” and while they’ve had a couple of line up changes over the years, they’ve continued to put out great music that always focuses on God.I love the song that I’ve highlighted, “End of Me,” which is from their latest self-titled album. And I find it ironic that the video is of them during a photo shoot. It does give you a behind-the-scenes look at what bands have to do to promote their music, but it’s so not like them to primp and preen and promote themselves. Listen to the words of the song, which really reflect the guys’ hearts. For more about Building 429, visit their website.RELATED POSTSDon’t miss Above The Golden State’s debut releaseChristian music artists’ Grammy Nominations
