11-year-old boy obeys heavenly voice, jumps to safety, saves family from burning home

Ohio fifth grader Jeffrey Radcliffe says a heavenly voice told him what to do when he was trapped in his burning home.

Facing a wall of flames and a collapsed stairs, he had to jump out of his second-story window. That’s exactly what he did, injuring three vertebrae in his back.

In severe pain, he began banging on his parents’ bedroom window — awakening them, prompting them to flee the fire and saving their lives, according to the Norwalk Reflector newspaper.

He says he doesn’t know who it was guiding him to jump, but the voice urged him repeatedly. He’s hospitalized — but his family is safe … and won’t leave his side.

He’ll be in a back brace for six weeks, the doctors say.

He was obedient to the voice of the Lord and it paid off. “Obedience really was better than sacrifice”. That’s a great example for all to follow. Lord help me respond to your voice with a childlike faith.

Obedience is better than sacrifice.

And that’s exactly what that little boy did.

Remember when God called Samuel in the Bible . Samuel obeyed and said “speak Lord ,thy servant heareth.”

Yes the little boy has his reward !
