This morning, I’m thinking about what reader Gwendolyn wrote in response to the Fresh Morning post about completing tasks every day.

She wrote that each day’s task list should include some “I want to,” and never just “I must, should, or have to.”  This formulation could become a meaningful morning exercise to set an intention of both “want to” and “have to” productivity for your day.

For example:

I have to go to work.
I want to go to lunch with a colleague.

I have to get groceries.
I want to make something new and healthy for dinner.

I have to return phone calls.
I want to tell a friend I’m grateful they’re in my life.

What are your want tos/have tos today?
