It’s a rare thing that a business news article catches my attention for a Fresh Living post, but wow, yay, and huzzah for Honest Tea, the organic iced tea company that is proving that sustainable, organic deliciousness has the power to survive–and thrive–even in a down economy.

This CNBC interview with Honest Tea CEO Seth Goldman is a fascinating portrait of where inspiration (sustainable packaging, no-chemical tea growing) meets business acumen (Honest Tea, which is partially owned by Coca-Cola, increased sales by more than 60 percent in the past year).

Just like Dancing Deer, my favorite tasty, eco-friendly cookie company, Honest Tea is a personal fave of mine (Moroccan Mint Green and Community Green are my go-tos).  And I’m in good company – Black Forest Berry is apparently President Barack Obama’s favorite, and bottles were handed out at the inauguration.

So check out the video and share – do you love Honest Tea?  Or are you suspicious of “big organics?”
