We make our world out of seeing what we want to see.  Today is the day to accentuate the positive.

Johnny Mercer’s lyric to Harold Arlen’s music for the song Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive is luscious and as always with these standards totally profound — published in 1944 capturing the mood of a world looking toward the end of the second World War…

You’ve got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
And latch on to the affirmative
Don’t mess with Mister In-Between

You’ve got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
Have
 faith or pandemonium’s
Liable to walk upon the scene

In filtering life in love, accentuating the positive side of things, you experience more positivity and more love.  It is the way of love, expanding without reserve.

In allowing this practice of love to permeate our thoughts, in letting our vision to explore the loving perception in every given situation before us the truth, beyond judgement is revealed.

It is all of our job to sing our song with love and to provide an example of the purest grace of our being in giving birth in each moment to what wants to be born in ourselves and those we encounter.

We are Misters and Mistresses of the loving word, thought and action pied pipering a new way into a new day. What we say and do matters. How we focus our expressions matter.  Let Love lead the way.  Spread Joy to the maximum and without fail have faith in what lives and breathes in all things.

May you feel connected, comforted and full of peace

Today. Now. Always.

May you see life in its full beauty unencumbered by the weight of judgment

May you let go of your defenses allowing the true nature of peace to enter your heart.

With Infinite Love and Gratitude

accentuate the positive

Take Mel’s Love Land pledge.  For the #Next100 Days I am going to consider the possibility there is another way….

I won’t focus on the negative, I will accentuate the positive

I won’t worry about what might happen, I will celebrate what does

I will have a miracle.

I won’t talk about war, I will feel peace.

I won’t talk about what isn’t working. I will experience what is.

I won’t complain about what people don’t do. I will appreciate what they do.

Cura Et Labore “with care and work”
I am going to allow myself to be uplifted.
And be willing to see change. In a new light.
In what’s remembered.
With Love
