As I stopped to ask a woman “How was your Thanksgiving” with the requisite “What did you do?” I got a surprise answer. She said she delivered Christmas Gifts to her nephew.

I asked  “Why so early?”

She responded “My Sister, his Mother, died recently and suddenly – she was 52 – I decided why the hell wait. What’s the point. You never know how much time you have. You never know anything. I have the gifts to give – he’s getting them now. No need to wait.”

Indeed.

When all is said and done – what you give is what you get. That’s all.

Don’t hold anything back.

Don’t leave anything on the shelf or in your heart that needs to be shared, given away or delivered. Give and give some more.

This is one of those times in the world where Love is needed in large doses. Wake up today in whatever circumstance you find yourself in and decide to give something today.  If you don’t feel like you have anything to give – practice giving love to a stranger.

Have gratitude in your heart for the person you haven’t had a kind word for in years. Be a loving connector at the grocery store. Look someone in the eyes and tell them to have a wonderful wonderful day.

Be appreciative you have the opportunity to extend love every day, that you get to take another breath into the fullness of yourself.

We are here on the planet to help each other grow by showing up in our greatness to give of ourselves and our gifts until there is nothing more to give.

There is no greater gift to ourselves than to share what we have and who we are. Right now.

We are getting the opportunity to interact in new ways, meet at the deepest level of truth and to live in the light of each others kindness. “Giving and receiving are one in truth.” ACIM

Get out there and leave it all on the field and give it all with love.
