Our friends at Present Truth Ministries have received a letter from Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, who faces a death sentence in Iran because of his Christian beliefs.

As you know, we’ve been working in this country and abroad to secure the release of Pastor Youcef. In his letter, he encourages the members of his congregation and supporters all over the world that he is in “perfect health” and urges them to continue having faith in God. He specifically thanks everyone who has “asked for my release, or campaigns and human rights activities which are going on against the charges which are applied to me,” and he urges everyone to “pray for me.”

We have a new blog posted on this letter here.

It includes the entire letter from Pastor Youcef. What’s clear from his communication is that he is grateful for the millions of people who are praying for his release and he asks that those prayers continue.

You can keep up to date on the Pastor Youcef story here and add your name to the ACLJ Tweet for Youcef campaign, which reaches more than 2-million Twitter accounts daily.
