Gaza. Ferguson. Ebola. These events can make your heart sink, like it’s falling into a well and you can’t do anything to stop it.

The past few weeks have been hard to watch. It’s been a reminder that the world isn’t perfect. But you do have a choice. You can choose to lose hope or embrace faith. Faith tells you to hold on a little longer, and a little tighter because for every ugly reminder, there’s also something beautiful.
